ONLINE BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Reset Health Clinic website, online booking platform, products, services, consultations, and intravenous (IV) therapy treatments offered by Reset Health Clinic ("Reset", "we", "our", or "us").

By accessing our website, making a booking, purchasing a treatment, or receiving services from Reset Health Clinic, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.


1. ABOUT RESET HEALTH CLINIC

Reset Health Clinic provides wellness-focused intravenous (IV) therapy, vitamin supplementation, hydration treatments, wellness consultations, and related health services.

All IV treatments are:

  • Ordered and prescribed where required by a qualified medical practitioner.
  • Administered by a registered nurse or appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
  • Conducted in accordance with applicable South African healthcare regulations.
  • Subject to patient screening, eligibility assessment, and professional discretion.

Use of our booking platform does not guarantee eligibility for treatment.

All our ingredients are SAPHRA approved and our distributors are compliant will all SAPHRA regulations.


2. ELIGIBILITY

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age; or
  • Have the consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian where legally permitted.
  • Provide truthful, complete, and accurate information.
  • Be legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

Reset reserves the right to refuse service where eligibility requirements are not met.


3. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Reset Health Clinic provides wellness and supportive health services.

Our treatments:

  • Are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • Do not replace professional medical care.
  • Should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from your doctor or healthcare provider.

Individual responses to IV therapy vary.

No guarantee is made regarding specific outcomes, benefits, improvements, or results.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or have concerns regarding treatment suitability, you must disclose this information before receiving treatment.


4. MEDICAL SCREENING AND APPROVAL

All clients are subject to:

  • Health questionnaires;
  • Medical screening;
  • Review of medical history;
  • Assessment of contraindications;
  • Professional approval before treatment.

Reset Health Clinic reserves the right to:

  • Decline treatment;
  • Modify treatment recommendations;
  • Request additional medical information;
  • Require doctor approval before proceeding.

A booking does not constitute approval for treatment.


5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

  • Provide complete and accurate health information.
  • Disclose all medications, allergies, medical conditions, and recent procedures.
  • Inform staff of any changes to your health status.
  • Follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in treatment refusal or increased risk, for which Reset Health Clinic shall not be liable where such information was withheld.


6. BOOKINGS

Appointments may be made through:

  • The Reset Health Clinic website;
  • Online booking systems;
  • Telephone;
  • Email;
  • In-person arrangements.

All bookings are subject to availability.

Reset reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to:

  • Clinical considerations;
  • Staff availability;
  • Equipment availability;
  • Emergencies;
  • Circumstances beyond our control.

7. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment may be required:

  • At the time of booking;
  • Prior to treatment;
  • Upon completion of treatment.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Credit cards;
  • Debit cards;
  • EFT;
  • Approved payment gateways;
  • Other methods displayed on our website.

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Reset reserves the right to amend pricing without notice, provided changes do not affect confirmed bookings already paid for.


8. CANCELLATION POLICY

Clients may cancel appointments by contacting Reset Health Clinic.

More than 24 hours before appointment

  • No cancellation fee applies.

Less than 24 hours before appointment

Reset reserves the right to charge:

  • An administrative fee; or
  • A percentage of the booking value.

No-show appointments

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice may result in:

  • Forfeiture of deposits;
  • Cancellation fees;
  • Restriction of future bookings.

9. REFUND POLICY

Refunds are considered in accordance with applicable South African consumer protection laws.

Refunds will generally not be provided where:

  • Treatment has already commenced;
  • Consumables have been prepared specifically for the client;
  • Medical screening determines the client is unsuitable after products have been specially ordered.

Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Approved refunds may take 7–14 business days to process.


10. TREATMENT RISKS

The client acknowledges that IV therapy carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Bruising;
  • Discomfort;
  • Swelling;
  • Bleeding;
  • Infection;
  • Allergic reactions;
  • Dizziness;
  • Nausea;
  • Vein irritation;
  • Extravasation;
  • Unexpected side effects.

Although every reasonable precaution is taken, no medical procedure is entirely risk-free.

By proceeding with treatment, the client acknowledges these risks.


11. CONSENT TO TREATMENT

Prior to treatment, clients may be required to sign:

  • Informed consent documentation;
  • Medical questionnaires;
  • Treatment-specific consent forms.

Reset reserves the right to withhold treatment where required documentation is not completed.


12. MOBILE AND CORPORATE SERVICES

Where services are provided at:

  • Homes;
  • Offices;
  • Events;
  • Hotels;
  • Corporate locations;

the client agrees to provide a safe and suitable environment for treatment.

Reset reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where safety concerns arise.


13. GIFT VOUCHERS AND PACKAGES

Gift vouchers:

  • Are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • May not be exchanged for cash.
  • Must be used before the expiry date stated.

Treatment packages:

  • Are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed.
  • Must be used within the specified validity period.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Reset Health Clinic website, including:

  • Logos;
  • Branding;
  • Text;
  • Graphics;
  • Images;
  • Marketing materials;

remains the property of Reset Health Clinic.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, or distributed without written permission.


15. WEBSITE USE

Users may not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems;
  • Introduce malicious software;
  • Interfere with website functionality;
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes.

Reset reserves the right to suspend access where misuse is suspected.


16. PRIVACY AND POPIA COMPLIANCE

Reset Health Clinic processes personal information in accordance with the:

  • Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA);
  • Applicable healthcare confidentiality obligations.

Information collected may include:

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Loss of profits;
  • Business interruption;
  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.


18. INDEMNITY

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Reset Health Clinic, its staff, healthcare professionals, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising from:

  • False or incomplete medical information;
  • Failure to follow treatment instructions;
  • Misuse of products;
  • Breach of these Terms.

19. FORCE MAJEURE

Reset Health Clinic shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Power outages;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Pandemic restrictions;
  • Government actions;
  • Supplier shortages;
  • Labour disputes;
  • Technological failures.
